Senior Product Designer

We are evoke, one of the world’s leading betting and gaming companies with internationally renowned brands, including William Hill, 888, and Mr Green and we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to help us create the UK’s best betting experience for our customers.
Based in Leeds or London, you’ll be part of a multi-discipline team working across sports and gaming, helping to deliver new products and services.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will have:

• Experience and previous responsibility for end-to-end experience outcomes and deliverables with ability to design the flow and layout of complete solutions to solve customer problems.
• Prototyping and testing skills to validate your designs and iterate on them with interpersonal and technical skills to effectively communicate your design decisions and ideas using data.
• An amazing portfolio or case study demonstrating a customer-first mindset backed up with user research at all stages of your work.
• Experience working with User Researchers, Product managers, Developers, and other designers to plan, prioritise, and execute on complex problems.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Improving the online experience. Together with design and product specialist you’ll own projects from start to finish, setting a benchmark for what good looks like, and how to get there
• Researching customer pain points and validate designs not just with our customers but also with our William Hill colleagues
• Advocate for customers you’ll be engaging with the product team to provide a strong customer voice – we want user-centred design to be at the forefront of every process
• Collaborating with different disciplines. You’ll work closely with Product designers, User Researchers, Engineers, Product Owners, Data Analysts and Business Stakeholders to research, build and deliver awesome experiences
• Mentoring others. Helping to develop the skills of more junior designers in the team and share design methodologies within product and engineering to foster greater collaboration
• You may also have the opportunity to lead a squad of Product Designers, UX Writer and User Researcher – and work hand-in-hand with Product Managers and Engineering specialists to define, design, build and shape the experience of a world-class product.
