Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of their cutting-edge ERP platform, with a particular focus on the finance element of the product. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative financial management solutions that meet the evolving needs of their diverse client base.

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER (ACCOUNTING SAAS) – QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within the software or technology sector, with a strong understanding of ERP systems and financial management solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, particularly within the finance domain, from concept to launch.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions, especially related to financial products.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with on-site collaboration in Wiltshire.
  • A strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering exceptional financial management products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a product strategy with a focus on the financial management features of the ERP platform, aligning with the company’s overall business goals.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in financial management, translating insights into actionable product features.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality financial management products on time and within budget.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand financial management pain points, and prioritize feature development to enhance user experience.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of finance-related features from ideation to launch, ensuring continuous improvement and iteration based on user feedback.
  • Utilize data analytics and user insights to drive product decisions, particularly in the financial aspects, measure success, and inform future development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related product communications, providing regular updates to senior management and other key stakeholders.
