POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Product Manager at Axelera AI, your mission will be to position Axelera as a leader in the AI hardware acceleration market. You will achieve this through a thorough and well-informed definition of our target market segments, use cases, product requirements, and by ensuring flawless product delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years in product management roles. Additional experience in engineering, product marketing, or technical support is beneficial, but direct product management experience is essential.
• The role involves a broad technical scope. The candidate must have demonstrable experience contributing as a PM or in another capacity in at least two of the following areas (the more the better):
• AI: In-depth understanding of neural networks (e.g., CNNs, transformers), their training processes, quantization techniques, and familiarity with a range of models.
• Compilers: Experience with compiler frameworks like TVM or MLIR.
• SoC Design: Skills in IP selection, architecture, testing, and productization processes for System-on-Chip.
• IP Design: Knowledge of processor architecture, especially RISC-V, and simulations.
• Embedded SW: Proficiency in Linux, RTOS, drivers, BSPs, GStreamer.
• Systems: Experience in board design, enterprise computers, servers, and development kits.
• A track record of thriving in high-growth startups or environments with first-rate engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product vision, synthesize customer feedback and market insights, and drive a product to market success.
• Effective at working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical details in a clear and compelling manner.

• Study, absorb, and understand customer needs, market trends, technical trade-offs, and competitive landscapes. Then distill this knowledge into key insights to drive the product strategy.
• Articulate clear product requirements. Manage the various aspects of your product scope (hardware and software) into a coherent whole.
• Coordinate the delivery of your product with marketing, sales, customer support, and engineering teams.
• Within Axelera, lead the market vision for your product, listen to feedback, and create a shared vision for success.
• Work alongside the engineering teams to unblock challenging situations, analyze complex trade-offs, and catalyze execution.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to articulate the product’s advantages and key selling points.
