Description:
Your Role
- Take ownership of the success of ZEISS cinematography products, with a focus on lenses.
- Monitor industry, customer, and user trends and innovations, and use insights to develop and improve the product portfolio.
- Assume global responsibility for cinematography products, from ideation to maturity, and lead key elements of lifecycle management.
- Identify innovations and drive R&D and production activities, both internally and with partners, to translate them into products or offerings.
- Develop and improve products throughout their entire lifecycle, adapting them to changing market needs.
- Define and own the product roadmap, including pricing strategy, and ensure a profitable business case for the products.
- Work with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and implement effective Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, including communications goals and activities sequencing.
- Represent ZEISS to key influencers, partners, and customers, and personally introduce and explain products to them.
- Train ZEISS Marketing and Sales teams on cinematography products and their features and benefits.
- Provide mentorship and guidance for other team members.
Your Profile
- A degree in engineering, media engineering, economics, or a related field with a strong technical affinity.
- At least 8 years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of successfully launching products and driving growth.
- Passion for cinematography, photography, optics, and/or digital media production, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends and challenges.
- A strong understanding of product innovation and development processes, with a track record of driving transformation and improvement.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to innovate and find solutions, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Ownership mindset with a track record of getting things done and achieving measurable results.
- Thought leadership and the ability to set and communicate a clear vision for product and portfolio definition, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Ability to understand complex user and customer requirements and translate them into effective solutions and products.
- Strong networking skills, with a focus on building relationships with users and customers, and exhibiting empathy for others.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to work effectively with individuals throughout the company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in other languages being a plus.
- Should have willingness to travel
