HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions (GPS) serves as a core service provider to Global Banking and Markets (GB&M) and Commercial Banking (CMB) customers. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our GPS MENAT team in Dubai, U.A.E. The role is within a team of three and is responsible for the end to end management of the commercial card solutions across MENAT.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

? Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the bank to lead commercial card payment related projects which includes development of new functionalities, aligning to regulatory requirements.
? Deliver customer experience improvements through assessment of existing operations procedures, and development new client centric journey for clients to use Commercial cards for payments.
? Lead commercialisation activities for commercial card solutions through active engagement with GPS Sales, Coverage Teams as well as with card networks like Mastercard and Visa.
? Engagement with clients to educate on HSBC’s commercial card payment solutions, to enable them to make information decisions towards payment solutions.
? Build relationship with WPB, DBS, Fraud Management, IT and other key stakeholders supporting commercial card solutions.
? Proactively manage card product development costs to deliver solutions which meet client needs and are profitable.
? Engage with key risk stewards like Compliance, Tax, Legal, FCC and other stakeholders like IT and Operations to ensure existing and new card developments are fit for purpose; maintaining an open and transparent communication approach that engenders teamwork and the quick resolution of escalated issues
? Engage and work along with global commercial card product management team to ensure key card projects and developments are planned, actioned and delivered to expectations.
? Drive and commercialise key partnership and alliances that broaden the use of commercial cards for HSBC clients.
? Provide leadership team on card payment landscape through trend analysis using HSBC client information as well market information.
? Develop and drive specific commercialisation activities by creating tools to support sales, coverage, and client services teams.
? Responsible for oversight of short and long terms strategy to drive new solutions and products.
? Improve employee engagement of staff at all levels.
? Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement and observe the Group Compliance Policy.
? Foster a compliance culture. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.
? Proactively support risk mitigation measures to protect the Bank and its customers from all regulatory, compliance and service issues.
Requirements

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

? Strong experience in commercial card payment space
? Strong commercial and business acumen on driving commercial card payment solutions.
? Good understanding of Commercial cards market, trends, and regulatory environment in the MENAT region.
? A sound understanding and background of card processes, technology, and systems.
? Proven ability in identifying and proactively meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services.
? A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory processes.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills.
? Willingness to learn and ability to work in a rapidly changing technical environment.
? Strong analytical skills with the ability deliver creative and customer centric solutions.
? Adaptable to a multinational organisation working across many specialists, markets and cultures.
? Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
