Description:

SUMMARY

Guidewire seeks a visionary Product Manager, Design System, to lead the evolution and adoption of Guidewire’s design system. You will drive its strategy and continuous improvement, empowering design and development teams to deliver cohesive and compelling end-user experiences for the P&C industry. Collaborating with designers, engineers, and other product teams, you will establish a scalable, accessible, and innovative foundation that enables insurers to deliver lasting business value through their digital products.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Product Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in design, product management, or UX/UI; 3+ years managing enterprise design systems.
  • Skills: Expertise in design systems, UX/UI, and front-end development. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Other: Strategic thinker with a collaborative approach to building partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the design system’s vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Align product, design, and engineering teams on design principles, processes, techniques, and tools to drive adoption.
  • Develop governance models and contribution processes to ensure quality and accessibility.
  • Oversee the creation and evolution of design system components and guidelines.
  • Ensure adequate learning and documentation content is available for both designers and developers.
  • Track metrics to measure the system’s effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
