  As a key member of our team, you will empower consumers to optimize their home energy devices. You’ll be at the forefront of introducing our new smart thermostat to the market, expanding our real-time insight capabilities, and supporting the rollout of Eneco’s comprehensive home energy management system. This innovative platform connects all energy devices—EV charging stations, solar panels, heat pumps, and more—into one seamless ecosystem. Beyond providing insights, you’ll take an active role in managing home energy, driving innovation, and making a tangible impact on sustainable living.

You will:

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers: Help them align their product strategies with the company’s One Planet Plan and overall vision.
• Own product outcomes: Define, implement, and track performance indicators to ensure that products meet business goals and customer needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with engineering, data science, UX design, and other teams to deliver superior digital solutions.
• Drive product innovation: Develop digital energy management solutions that optimize home energy systems (e.g., heat pumps, EV chargers, boilers) and enable decentralized energy management, contributing to a more sustainable future.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior colleagues from business, tech, Data Science, and Data Engineering to ensure products align with Eneco’s broader goals. You will also communicate with external partners to drive innovation and delivery.
• Strategic Vision: Support the Group Product Manager in driving the overall product vision, while providing leadership at the tactical level to ensure alignment across teams and departments.

• Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in product management, building products with scale
• Visionary: You have a track record of devising and driving product strategy, with the ability to bring innovative ideas to life.
• Strong technical understanding: You are comfortable communicating technical concepts and working with engineering teams, while also understanding business dynamics and market trends.
• Leadership: Demonstrable experience in mentoring product managers, building high-performing teams, and fostering a collaborative, user-focused product culture.
• Stakeholder management: You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders and building consensus across diverse groups.
• Data and metric Driven: You prioritize data in decision-making processes and can align your team’s work with both customer needs and business outcomes.

• Leading the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch for key products.
• Facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams, including mobile app development, home energy optimization, and Eneco’s virtual power plant platform.
• Driving a data-driven approach to product management, ensuring decisions are backed by clear evidence and user insights.
• Managing programs for hardware and software development, including working closely with vendors, managing contracts, and ensuring successful integration of third-party components into HEMS solutions.
• Communicating complex technical ideas effectively to both business-focused and technical teams.
• Providing leadership to Product Managers while ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and operational needs.
• Ensuring that products deliver high customer value, enabling cost savings and higher energy efficiency.
• Contributing to Eneco’s ambition of becoming Europe’s leading digital-first energy company.
