POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Product Manager to join the Leafly team. As a Sr. Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the products we build are valuable and meet users’ needs. You’ll work on a squad with Engineering and Design to ensure solutions are feasible and usable to our end consumers, retailers and brands. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer support, finance, legal, and compliance to ensure products are viable to be sold and marketed. Finally, you’ll work with leadership and executives to ensure that the product team’s work is aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Design or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s goals. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and customer needs.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, marketing, sales, customer support, finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure cohesive product development and launch. Serve as the central point of contact for all product-related inquiries.
  • User Experience and Design: Advocate for the end user by ensuring the product is user-friendly and meets usability standards. Collaborate with design teams to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Product Development: Work closely with Engineering to deeply understand technical constraints and partner with all stakeholders and lead on defining the right MVP scope to validate hypotheses.
  • Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the product development and release schedule. Prioritize features and improvements based on direct communication with customers, collaboration with internal stakeholders, market trends, and guidance from leadership.
  • Customer Focus: Engage with customers to gather insights, validate product concepts, and address issues. Ensure customer feedback is incorporated into the product development cycle.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies. Work with marketing teams to create compelling product messaging and campaigns.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish hypotheses and success criteria for all product releases. Analyze product performance data and user feedback to inform future product improvements and regularly report on them.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the product development process and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
