Description:

We are looking for a persistent, curious, and inspiring product manager with a background in payments and a proven track record of delivering great products. Are you driven by curiosity and eager to challenge us to become better? We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive our global business aviation payments solution forward! You will work in an experienced and Empowered Product Team consisting of a Product Manager (you), a UX Designer, a Tech Lead, a Test Lead, and software engineers, as well as with fellow “Noders” (that’s what we call ourselves) throughout the company to ensure we meet commercial and strategic product goals. You will be a part of a warm, inclusive, and supportive workplace where a bit of quirky humor is always welcome. Are you up for this exciting challenge?

Responsibilities:

We expect our product teams to take full ownership of their product and empower them to make decisions that result in products that delight our customers and work for our business. As a Senior Product Manager who has been there and done that, you will be a leader in elevating product mindset across the organization, as well as a mentor to your fellow Product Managers. With a global product and offices in Sweden and the US, communication is vital. You will need to bring people together in meetings and workshops, both physically and digitally. You will define and track key metrics, dive deep into data, and communicate learnings to your team and the rest of the company.

  • Build deep knowledge of the needs of our customers, their businesses, and the industry.
  • Balance business and user needs to drive the product vision, roadmap, and product iterations for your team’s focus area.
  • Ensure that our payment products are functioning correctly. All sorts of things can go wrong, but payments are business-critical for our customers. If something goes wrong, you need to be front and center, coordinating with engineers, stakeholders, leadership, and customer-facing teams and, most importantly, ensuring the problem gets resolved quickly.
  • Together with Product Engineering leadership and in consultation with stakeholders, develop a short—and mid-term strategy that brings us closer to our product vision and ensures that we contribute to reaching company goals.
  • Creatively workshop with customers and Noders worldwide.
  • Share and align your work with the other product teams in Avinode.
