BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of 10 year’s experience in leading technical projects.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must have ability to obtain a Secret clearance upon hire.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in leading large-scale technical projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PMP/PMI certification Target Salary Range
    $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Peraton is seeking a seasoned Senior I.T. Technical Leadership to function in the role of Product Manager. The Product Manager is a critical leadership role within our IT organization, tasked with overseeing the delivery of our one or more of our contractual product commitments to customers. This role requires an individual with a strong background in Senior IT Leadership, capable of maintaining the technical vision and driving teams to achieve that vision while ensuring alignment with the program and customer expectations.

DAY TO DAY WORK RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Tactial and Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with Senior Leadership to develop and articulate a clear vision for the product. Champion and maintain this vision, ensuring it aligns with both customer needs and program requirements and goals.
  • Customer Relations: Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding product strategy, updates, and delivery issues.
  • Contract Management: Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, ensuring all product deliverables meet the stipulated requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Service Owner Coordination: Collaborate closely with Service Owners to ensure that the services provided meet the necessary standards and integrate seamlessly to deliver a comprehensive product.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various internal teams, including ITBM, HR, Business Functions, and Technical Leads, to ensure product delivery is supported organization-wide.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to product delivery and coordinate with relevant departments to mitigate them.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CTO and other stakeholders on the product’s progress, challenges, and strategy.
