As the Senior Product Manager for Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM), you would be responsible for the inbound and outbound product management efforts. Working closely with engineering teams, the goal is to further product adoption and commercial success. You will collaborate with customers, partners, product leadership and tech leads, balance time and scope to ensure that we are delivering value to the user.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Establish a product strategy that complements both our corporate and product vision, whilst also solving customer problems.
  • Perform broad customer research to formulate market needs and product vision.
  • Collaborate with product leadership and other teams to lead product development efforts.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing and other teams to deliver a product that delights customers.

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

  • Proven success in product management with enterprise IT software, including experience shipping products.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of customers’ business challenges and needs, and how those translate to products that delight the customer.
  • Proven technical background in software development or operations.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally within and beyond engineering, to successfully develop and deliver software products and solutions.
  • Language skills: English fluently, additional languages appreciated.
  • Exceptional communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills, including public speaking skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally on business (as travel conditions permit).
