REQUIREMENTS

  • Hands-on experience in a product management role in an agile enterprise environment collaborating directly with engineers and designers
  • Experience with early stage products, new product development, and product modernization from discovery to MVP launch, and beyond
  • Proven ability to collaborate with with stakeholders from various levels, areas of the organisation, and with differing business goals to drive to successful roadmaps and releases
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with product experience exercising mature judgment
  • Ability to define and lead product discovery workshops to define customer journeys, deliver tangible roadmaps and prioritised backlog
  • Understanding of product analytics and KPIs/OKRs, including test and learn and A/B testing methodologies
  • Focuses on business outcomes and not just the tactical outputs
  • Ability to travel occasionally (London)

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Our Product community plays a big role in supporting and executing on our stakeholders’ business vision by working with the engineering teams on user experience, architecture, design and development, driving to successful product launches.
A Product Manager is responsible for the business management of a product and its commercial success. They are required to have both a 10,000 ft view and a 2 foot view by defining and executing on a the product strategy, clearly communicating this strategy and vision to stakeholders and delivery team members clearly, collaborating with all parties needed to uncover and define requirements, and carrying a deep understanding of the user needs to support the product strategy. This role is operationally hands-on with an emphasis on defining the product vision and strategy with stakeholders and NearForm counterparts in order to create a robust and clearly defined backlog for the engineering team to execute on in delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TO:

  • Translate business strategy into product strategy and execute to that strategy in the delivery phase with the engineering team[s]
  • Collaborate with stakeholder to define the product roadmap
  • Lead the ideation, development, and launch of features
  • Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market
  • Plan and carry out product launches, MVP and phased releases
  • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product, competitors, technical innovations and market
  • Support a SaaS platform and 3rd party integrations
  • Provide product marketing with insights on key differentiators and messages
  • Write requirements – typically as epics, features and user stories - including clear acceptance criteria
  • Define and adhere to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Support stakeholders and NF engineering team[s] with any questions they may have
  • Support grooming and refinement ceremonies in collaboration with Tech Leads to ensure alignment on the requirements and to support the delivery goals
  • Identify, document and communicate risks, changes or delays as soon as possible
  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives
