Questrade Financial Group is seeking a collaborative and inquisitive individual to take on the role of Senior Product Manager, Wealth Advice.
Reporting to the Mission Leader, Digital Wealth Advice, the Senior Product Manager, Wealth Advice will lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for the business.

Product Strategy and Planning
- Support the Mission Leader in the development of the long-term Mission (business) strategy, and ensure alignment between the Mission (business) strategy and product roadmap
- Monitor developments in the competitive landscape and customer demands through research and data analysis; use this understanding to inform the product roadmap
- Lead the design of the end-to-end customer journey for the respective area, working closely with a variety of stakeholders, and use it to inform the product roadmap
- Ideate, assess, and prioritize potential Epics and Features in the product roadmap
- Determine the financial, resourcing, and timing implications for each product Epic and Feature
- Work closely with the Mission Leader to develop Objectives and Key Results, and monitor the progress towards them
- Prepare communications and presentation materials as needed
- Act as a bridge between execution and strategy; to translate strategy into actions.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Questrade’s overall product strategy and how the different products across journeys/missions/squads interplay
- Identify and review potential vendors where applicable, and lead contract discussions and ongoing management of vendor relationships
Execution and Squad Leadership
- Lead one or more agile squads- develop an effective plan for the squad(s) to work toward achievement of Mission OKRs and the product roadmap. This includes the anticipated budget and resource allocation required to deliver on the set out priorities.
- Outline the requirements for each product Epic and Feature, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand and incorporate dependencies
- Manage the backlog for the squad(s) by defining, prioritizing, and escalating product Epics and Features
- Monitor the performance of and customer feedback for Epics and Features in-market, and prioritize adjustments as needed
- Act as the initial escalation point for issues and engage other leaders (if needed) to remove impediments and blockers
- Provide strategic expertise and guidance to other Product Managers & Squad Leaders
- Act as SME to cross-functional team members including Marketing, Technology, Operations, HR/Training and Legal, Risk and Compliance, and external partners to launch new product solutions and continue to manage and ensure sound business practices are applied and adhered to at all times
- Provide overall team leadership, training, coaching, development, and provide on-going feedback to others on the team and input into performance reviews and development plans for each direct team member (i.e. Designers and Developers, as applicable), and occasionally indirect team members.
