As part of the transformation agenda for Service Management & Operations, we are now hiring for a Senior ITOM & ITAM Product Owner in the Enterprise Service Management Product & Platform Management team.

As a Senior Product Owner, you excel at building and maintaining strong partnerships and relationships to bridge the gap between stakeholders and the development team to create tailored, persona-based and standardized offerings that meet the unique needs of our co-workers across the IKEA value chain. Your strong analytical skills allow you to utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making improve product performance and create a game-changing co-worker experience.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for seasoned people who encompass:

  • Strong Service Management understanding and how to integrate in a strong and modern engineering culture across Group Digital and digital organisation in the markets with a proven track record (at least 5+ years) in managing services in a global organisation.
  • Extensive knowledge of product discovery techniques, like customer development programs, persona development and qualitative/quantitative research methodology.
  • Good understanding of the product management role in relation to other functions in Ingka, knowing best practices in building agile and outcome-oriented ways of working.
  • Thorough knowledge of how to create a value-based product strategy and roadmap from scratch and how to storytell to gain buy-in with a variety of key stakeholders across functions.
  • Strong knowledge of data and analytics key concepts, for example, qualitative versus quantitative data, statistical analysis and basics of data modelling.
  • Good knowledge of how to define and measure success, for example how to create OKR framework or KPIs.
  • Thorough understanding of qualitative and quantitative research studies.
  • Strong knowledge and capability of how to design, implement and continuously benchmark your assigned product against competitive and best-in-class products, and you can adjust your roadmap accordingly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business leaders.

As our Senior Product Owner, you have the following key previous experiences and skills:

  • 5+ years of progressive and diverse experience in digital product development with a proven track record of delivering products that provide substantial value.
  • 5+ years of experience working with iterative, agile product development teams in complex global organisations and possessing a good knowledge of agile/scrum and Software Engineering working setup, including key events and artefacts.
  • 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow and systems related to Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • 5+ years working with ITOM, preferably in ServiceNow
  • 3+ years working with ITAM, preferably in ServiceNow
  • 3+ years of demonstratable experience working with 3rd party IT partners/service providers.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in change management and working in rapidly changing environments.
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture design principles
  • 3+ years of working experience in building a high-value CMDB in an enterprise environment

3+ years of experience working with different discovery methods to find and populate relevant data.

These roles will be based in Helsingborg, Sweden or Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and will report to the Service Delivery Manager of Enterprise Service Management Product & Platform Management team. It is expected that this role requires some travel between the different Digital Hubs.
In this recruitment there is no relocation support provided by Ingka, hence we are looking for people already living in or within commuting distance of the mentioned location.

Responsibilities:

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for architecting the experiences of tomorrow for IT operations management and IT asset management ecosystems to drive high co-worker productivity and a compelling co-worker experience. You will be driven by a sense of consumer advocacy and ensure that product and service development are constantly pacing with changing consumer needs and trends. You will also:

  • Actively research customer needs and apply the resulting insights.
  • Continually benchmark against industry standards in order to meet customer needs and ensure that product team understand and drive towards meeting them.
  • Define goals and objectives for assigned product together with the teams and key stakeholders to ensure teams are aligned and tracking towards the same goals. Continuously report against goals to demonstrate progress towards stated benefits.
  • Set a tangible product strategy for the assigned product and ensure that the delivery of outcomes meets objectives and customer needs.
  • Communicate the product strategy and vision for assigned product to gain organisational buy in.
  • Ensure that different perspectives are heard and balanced to meet business objectives, securing collaboration, togetherness and strong partnership with key stakeholders in various parts of the organisation.
  • Manage the roadmap and value realisation for one or more multi-disciplinary teams to iteratively deliver customer and business outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment between cross functional teams and across areas to ensure maximum impact.
  • Exemplify best practice across the product management discipline to enable high performing teams.
  • Demonstrate and encourage a data informed approach to deliver successful outcomes for customers.
  • Coach and mentor the teams to secure individual and team development and the transfer of competence as well as diversity of thought.
  • Document learnings, adopting a continuous improvement approach and transferring learnings to the wider organisation.
