Responsibilities:

  • Interpret the business needs, product strategy and vision for the Sales Journey Quote to Invoice development value stream by collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions aligned with business strategy.
  • Provide clear requirements and details of the problems we are trying to solve so that the Quote to Invoice SAFe Agile scrum team can build the right solutions to satisfy our stakeholders needs.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, triaging stakeholder requests, understanding the business needs, identify user pain points and champion solutions that improve value that users derive from the application(s).
  • Act as the voice of the user to the SAFe Agile Quote to Invoice scrum team and draft the strategic objectives for all Program Increments (PIs). Work with the team to decompose SAFe Agile epics into user stories which provide clarity on scope to aid the team with effort estimation.
  • Drive strategic objectives through the prioritized backlog by prioritizing the most valuable and impactful work.
  • Ensure that a backlog of well-defined Epics is ready for the scrum team to deep dive well in advance of Program Increment planning.
  • Ensure the established criteria for the “Definition of Ready” for strategic epics is fully met by providing detailed and clear acceptance criteria to enable the scrum team to easily understand what is required and to allow effort estimation of the work.
  • Own the product backlog of user stories for the SAFe Agile Quote to Invoice team. Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owner’s, Architects, etc. to ensure the proper sequencing of user stories based on strategic priorities, technological implications, outcomes of Sprints/PIs and dependencies with other teams.
  • Assist and/or prepare and produce Program Increment System Demos and fold the feedback into the product backlog. Manage the product backlog execution risks and escalate to Product Management early so that escalations can be dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and industry best practices in all solutions.
  • Lead change management efforts, including documentation, training, and user adoption for new solutions.
