Description:
Why Work at Ross Video? We have a great group of people working together to create and deliver cutting edge products that look amazing and are easy to use. We go all out so that our customers can have the best possible experience and achieve quality results. With a product focus, continual learning, results driven processes, and creative thinking, we constantly strive to improve our solutions and to deliver results. If you’ve ever watched live television, news, sports, or entertainment, you’ve seen our products in use. All of the major Hollywood award shows, most professional sports teams, and many of the largest broadcasters in the world use Ross Video technology. Get behind the scenes and learn about what it takes to make live events possible. If that resonates, and you’re someone with integrity, commitment, and a strong drive to deliver great products, we’d love to hear from you.
Streamline is a Media Asset Management (MAM) system focused on content delivery for live broadcast. Our platform provides a central and convenient interface for organizing media, editing metadata, previewing assets, searching for content, managing orders, and fulfilling requests. Additionally, we offer automated workflows that move content on-air, clean up old content, and generate detailed reports across a wide range of data points.
Live broadcast environments contain vast amounts of diverse content — from video packages for news stories to sports team logos — requiring careful organization and management. Our system ensures that all this content is easily accessible and efficiently handled.
As part of our team, you will help develop new features and functionality using cutting-edge web technologies for our Media Asset Management systems. Whether dealing with graphics or video production, you will work collaboratively with the team to create systems that organize, manage, search, and report on media content used in every facet of live broadcast.
This role combines software development with teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous learning. It offers opportunities for technical growth, while fostering cross-functional collaboration with other teams to enhance the overall system.
Our team is primarily based in Ottawa, ON, and operates in a dynamic hybrid work environment. We value collaboration and flexibility, offering team members the ability to work remotely most of the time. Team members are expected to come into the office once a week for in-person meetings and collaboration.
