We are seeking a Senior Production Manager to join a world leading manufacturer. Our client is a world wide organization that manufacturers consumer goods for retail stores across North America.
The individual will provide oversight and have accountability for a Fast paced manufacturing environment. Train, teach, and coach on a daily basis to ensure consistent implementation of best practices that drive productivity, optimize efficiency, promote sustainability. Establish team excellence in production planning, scheduling, execution of standard work, operational efficiency, and driving results. Understand company vision and successfully manage change to support innovation and drive continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Transferable Educational Background in Engineering, Business or relatable field
• 10-15+ years in a Fast Paced Manufacturing Environment.
• Previous Experience in Automotive Manufacturing, Industrial or Production Manufacturing Environments a Must
• Proven background and implementation of Lean Principles in an effort for Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma, JIT, Kaizen)
• Proven Leadership skills in leading and guiding staff
• Demonstrated years of proven bottom line P&L results

• Oversee the activities of 6 other Production Supervisors
• Responsible for output of a 3 shift production facility
• Plan production and set goals while ensuring the implementation of standard operating procedures.
• Ensure that Production Supervisors are utilizing system tools to maintain accurate production records while fostering a culture of lean continuous improvement and efficiency in all operations.
• Monitor and track production performance to implement technologies and other innovations to improve production and promote the implementation of all improvement protocols.

• Implement on-boarding, training, and coaching programs to develop technical and leadership capacity within the team, with emphasis on development of employees and Production Partners.
