Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Production Planner to join our Supply Planning team at CSL Behring. Reporting to the Head of Site Planning, you will facilitate cross-functional communication, coordination, and collaboration to develop and deliver master production plan for the assigned products that meet the various product demand of the CSL global network and regional customers. You will provide oversight of the site’s production planning processes to ensure the site delivers quality product on time and in full to our customers and patients.
This is a full-time permanent role based at our Broadmeadows site.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualifications and experience in supply chain, planning, manufacturing, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a GMP environment (Pharma/food).
  • SAP or equivalent ERP system experience.
  • Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment during new product introduction project phase.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail planning/scheduling environment experience.
  • Exposure to sales and operations planning.
  • An understanding of the principles of inventory management and control.
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish planning processes for new productions/facilities.
  • Create and maintain master data for new product introductions.
  • Develop facility Master Production Plans for the assigned product/ value stream that fully achieve time the Global and local supply requirements.
  • Help with the maintenance and preparation of business scenarios to support educated business decisions that improve the Site Operational Plan or customer requirements.
  • Manage the integrated business planning system to ensure the ERP system accurately and reflects the production schedule and inventory requirements and ensures accurate planning master data.
  • Implement required integrated business planning activities required to support the monthly planning cycle and reporting of planning cycle outcomes at various business lead forums.
  • Help maintain the Product Release Schedule for Finished Products and ensure all departments have visibility of product release dates.
  • Prepare and report on Site Supply metrics to provide visibility on performance and reliability of supply.
