Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a strong leader and Senior Program Manager (Level 5) to join our Commercial Aircraft Spare Parts Business team in Plano, TX.
This individual will be responsible for a segment of the Commercial Parts business, providing Integrated Product Team leadership, performing business management, data analysis and strategy development duties, internal and external executive-level communication. This position is integral to the business growth of the BGS Commercial Airplane Parts Program.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • Minimum 5 years of experience interpreting data and presenting analysis with recommendations to executive leaders
  • Minimum 3 years of experience building relationships across separate functions
  • Knowledge of, and Experience achieving financial performance targets through Profit & Loss leadershi

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • MBA / Master’s degree
  • Experience in the commercial aviation industry with emphasis on aftermarket aircraft support
  • Experience with business consulting, marketing, sales, finance and/or supply chain
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis concepts such as normal distribution, standard deviations, mean, probability, and confidence level

Responsibilities:

  • Builds trusting relationships and communicates business priorities across functional business partners and Supply Chain through Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership
  • Communicates data analyses and business insight to an Executive audience
  • Customer offer and/or sales promotion development
  • Implements customer and program communication plans
  • Develops program work structures and top-level execution plans, including monthly financial, customer, and competitive analysis to manage monthly business results and evaluate root cause changes
  • Supports the senior manager for the business segment by leading program execution and program metrics-driven actions
  • Lead monthly financial, customer, and competitive analysis to manage monthly results, evaluate root cause, communicate developments, and ensure the achievement of financial plan objectives
  • Simultaneously leads execution on a variety of project initiatives designed to improve commercial part product & category performance (revenue, cost, convenience, delivery, quality)
  • Customer segmentation & customer targeting
  • Regional business growth
  • Forecasting enhancements across business-critical segments
  • Product Line enhancement
  • Communicate and align growth initiatives to sales channels. Provide commercial support & technical sales support
  • Implement strategy across BGS Commercial Parts Business segments, BGS Sales & Marketing, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Engineering and Supplier Management organizations to strengthen Boeing’s product offerings

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years’ related work experience, Master+12 years’ related work experience, 18 years’ related work experience, etc.).
