Job Summary: Program Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the client executive team. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and leadership skills, capable of managing multiple projects, staff and fostering effective communication across departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives.
Project Management: Oversee and coordinate key projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Communication: Serve as a liaison between the leadership team and other departments, facilitating clear and effective communication.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of technical strategies that align with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance on Availability Management within the T&H domain to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain architectural standards and documentation to support ongoing system improvements and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems to identify areas for optimization and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior architects and developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Ensure that all architectural solutions adhere to security and compliance requirements mitigating risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.
  • Participate in technical reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance implementing improvements as necessary to meet evolving business demands.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to ensure project success.
  • Possess extensive experience in Opera migrations
  • Have a strong background in Availability Management within the T&H domain showcasing domain-specific knowledge.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Show proficiency in developing and maintaining architectural standards and documentation.
  • Have a proven track record of driving technical excellence and delivering high-quality solutions.
