Team Description
Our Marketing team sets product positioning and strategy, manages product launches, and gathers customer insights. We’re responsible for maximizing our products’ potential, in order to delight our users and help Dropbox grow. We partner with teams across the company, including Product, Sales, and Engineering.
Role Description
At the intersection of standards, knowledge, and consulting, the Global Marketing PMO team provides the operational muscle that guides Dropbox Global Marketing. We provide the process, tactical execution methods, and project management support to enable our teams to use our marketing strategies to hit business goals.
As a senior program manager within our team, you will drive process optimizations and efficiencies and develop tools to help Dropbox marketers execute the programs to achieve our goals. You will sit aside our integrated campaigns team, digital marketing centers of excellence, and marketing operations experts to create the blueprint to execute on their strategies and guide their programs from discovery to delivery to testing and optimization.
As a senior program manager, you will mentor other program managers leading high-visibility cross-functional programs, along with developing a marketing toolkit to maintain consistent and scaleable templates and frameworks for executing our work. As Dropbox launches new features and products and expands its customer base, you will also be looking for the best tools, practices, and operational efficiencies to help the team quickly pivot and make the greatest impact.
Responsibilities
Lead global marketing’s annual and quarterly planning process - defining how the team will execute against its top priorities
Develop, document and continually improve upon team processes including intake, resource allocation, keep the lights on work and product launches and releases
Develop marketing program delivery tools in order to better scale our support
Own our program management software, ensuring we are using the best solution for our needs and always seeking new solutions based on changing needs of the teams and our cross-functional partners
Report on overall program delivery status and dependencies on a regular basis to marketing and executive leadership
Regularly assess risk to high priority cross-functional programs and guide the team in mitigation efforts
Leadership of high priority programs as a program manager tracking workstreams, dependencies, workback plans, roles and responsibilities documentation and regular status meetings
Requirements
8+ years of experience in marketing as a Program Manager, overseeing the end-to-end management of large-scale, cross-functional programs from initial discovery through delivery and ongoing optimization
Experience with a variety of program management tools and choosing tool solutions for marketing teams
Ability to review marketing metrics and data, along with company goals and objectives, to guide team members on programs and initiatives to prioritize
Experience mentoring more junior program managers and guiding them to follow best practices and established processes
Comfortable with delivering reports, status updates, presentations and analysis of marketing programs and results to executive leadership
Experience program managing multi-million dollar integrated campaign efforts
Experience creating scaleable frameworks and templates for integrated campaigns efforts
Ability to mitigate risk to our prioritized programs and identify ways to unblock the team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within a SaaS company
Knowledge of marketing budgets and experience working directly with finance
Experience working with product marketing, creating templates for GTM documentation
Compensation Canada Pay Range $161,500—$218,500 CAD
The range listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE for this role, subject to change.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
