ABOUT THIS ROLE

This is an individual contributor role in the Research Architecture and Methodologies team within Gartner’s Content Research Excellence organization. It is focused on implementing and managing complex, cross-business-unit content strategy programs that enable Gartner Research & Advisory (R&A) to deliver high-quality, objective insights to clients and to support business growth, client engagement and retention.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Define, deliver, and manage Research Architecture and Methodology programs globally in alignment with Research and Gartner business objectives
  • Lead and manage business system and process development for multiple, concurrent, complex programs and initiatives
  • Work with R&A, Product, and IT teams (and other functional areas where applicable) to develop content and business requirements that evolve our research methodologies to support R&A-led strategic programs
  • Support execution of methodologies and content architecture by leveraging best practices in:
  • Process design - design excellent processes and/or optimize existing processes, using convention of efficiency, simplicity, leverage, data utilization, and change management
  • Process execution – effective use of resources and feedback in all processes, effective and timely issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Process management - demonstrate effective process management through data analysis, communication, and service excellence
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of Gartner products, select research methodologies and evolving client needs
  • Work independently, as well as collaboratively, to achieve results:
  • Create detailed plans and supporting documentation for each project, maintaining strong alignment and collaboration with partners
  • Design and develop multi-channel communication and training plans (internal and external) to engage and enroll key stakeholders in change management initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement of the Research content portfolio and related methodologies and processes
  • Create and manage key success measurement criteria and analysis to drive continuous program improvement

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE WILL HAVE:

  • Demonstrated track record managing content and/or product strategy programs
  • Experience working in a complex and fast-paced global workforce preferably in Research, Consulting, or Media industries
  • Demonstrated track record for leading change management initiatives
  • Design thinking, customer/user experience, and/or market research skills
  • An understanding of a variety of research methods and their application
  • Experience leveraging data and metrics to understand customers, content, and/or product performance
  • Proven project management skills in agile environments.
