Senior Program Manager, Regional Product Delivery

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED

  • In-depth knowledge in the payment industry preferred - payment network, processor, solution supplier, gateway providers or card acquirer.
  • Bonus to have:
  • Knowledge of industry compliance standards like PCI, EMV, etc.
  • Project management skills
  • Experience with Agile project management and tools supporting agile methodology
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; good command of Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills in face-to-face environment or in phone/video calls.
  • Flexible for frequent conference calls or meetings outside of regular office hours.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10-15 years of work experience with at least 10 years in product/project management, preferably with Asia Pacific regional experience within a multinational company.

EDUCATION

  • Degree holder in Business Management, Finance, IT or related disciplines, or related work experience.

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position (single contributor) will report to Director, Regional Program Management, whose main job scope focuses on delivering digital solutions covering omnichannel across ten countries (China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage product development and implement delivery strategy for Asia Pacific with various headquarter teams on centralized/corporate-driven products and services (Integration, API, portal, reporting, analytics tools).
  • Manage product delivery of customer-vertical-specific payment through partnership with e-commerce product team, POS product team and marketing team.
  • Collaborate cross-organizationally with sales, marketing, customer support, operations, risk management, and other relevant functional areas to manage all aspects of product and solution roll-outs.
  • Assume ownership and responsibility of overall scope, quality, budget and schedule for product delivery from initiation through successful implementation.
  • Continually anticipate, identify risks and issues and prioritize, mitigate, manage and own the resolution.
  • Generate and continuously maintain reporting data for respective products, reporting to upper management as necessary.
  • Assist inter-team to:
  • Manage and develop external vendor or service partner relationship for development and delivery plan on 3rd party products.
  • Work closely with strategic partners and ISVs on payment integration, product packaging and solutions, including support and implementation of proposition and customer focused strategy.
  • Support cross-functional/cross-country teams in continuous customer engagement to improve our products and enhance our value proposition in each local market.
  • Review processes with a view to improving them continuously.
  • All other duties as assigned.
