Role Description:
The Senior Project Analyst provides support across multiple project workstreams to ensure on-time delivery of project objectives, plans, documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Project Managers and Key Stakeholders to support projects and engage with various collaborators, translating objectives into business requirements and solutions
  • Creates and maintains key project documentation including project plans, schedules and budgets and uses standard project management tools to track delivery against plan
  • Maintains Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) log throughout the lifespan of the project, working closely with owners to track, report and resolve risks, raising them further where required
  • Supports project workstreams throughout the project lifecycle delivering results that meet the success parameters stated in the business case
  • Supports project and program managers with cases development, including costs and resource requirements, and project reports
  • Provides project governance by creating governance packs, status reports and documenting key decisions with a comprehensive view of the status and health of projects

Required Skills:

  • Project Management Methodologies: Uses project management methodologies to manage project resources and activities.
  • Resource planning & optimization: Plans, manages and optimizes resources within teams in order to improve results and achieve desired performance.
  • Business case & benefit management: Prepares and manages business cases or proposals to justify programs or projects, and identifies, manages and tracks benefits derived from the programs or projects.
  • Navigating the business: Uses knowledge of practices and approaches for managing and navigating the organization to support project/program objectives.
  • Change management: Uses a systematic approach to deal with change, transition or transformation of an organization’s goals, processes or technologies, implementing strategies for effecting behavioral and cultural change, controlling change and helping people to adapt to change.
  • Industry knowledge: Demonstrates a depth of hands-on knowledge of the organization’s industry and domains.
  • Communication: Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
  • Problem Solving: Defines a problem, generates solutions, and evaluates and identifies the best solution to overcome the problem.
  • Process improvement: Seeks new ways of working continuously to make processes run smoother and faster.
  • Relationship building: Interacts well with others, quickly establishing rapport building positive relationships and networks.
  • Stakeholder management: Builds trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their drivers and negotiate positive outcomes.
  • Third party management: Manages the relationships with all external third parties.
  • Project planning & delivery: Demonstrates the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards.
  • Flexible ways of working: Understands different approaches to project management (e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver and perform within different ways of working.
