ABOUT THE JOB

This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure both technical excellence and commercial success while managing multiple projects simultaneously. As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing high-level project execution strategies, managing and mentoring project engineers, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Your leadership will drive strategic decision-making, risk management, and problem-solving across large-scale Data Centre implementations.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES

  • Lead and oversee complex Data Centre projects simultaneously, ensuring both technical excellence and commercial success while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Develop and implement high-level project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
  • Manage and mentor a team of project engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring efficient resource allocation across projects.
  • Drive strategic decision-making in project scope development, risk management, and problem-solving for large-scale Data Centre implementations.
  • Oversee project budgets and financial performance, implementing cost control measures and identifying opportunities for profitability improvement.
  • Ensure successful completion of projects within budget, applying Value Management/Value Engineering techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish project resource requirements and lead, motivate, and manage project teams effectively.
  • Maintain and manage project budgets, developing them based on inputs from the project team.
  • Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients and stakeholders, representing the company in high-stakes negotiations and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies across all managed projects.
  • Implement and optimize project management methodologies, including the use of CDE platforms for document management and collaboration.
  • Provide regular high-level performance updates to senior management, offering strategic insights and recommendations for company-wide improvements.
  • Lead innovation initiatives in project delivery methods, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices in Data Centre design and construction.
  • Ensure that actual cost expenditures align with the Development Budget, seeking prior approval from the client for any unbudgeted expenditure.
  • Demonstrate leadership, team skills, self-confidence, and effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
