Job Description:

PCI is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its PCI Indianapolis operations based in Carmel, IN. This individual will be responsible for the following:

  • Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Prepare RFI’s and submittals
  • Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
  • Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
  • Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
  • Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in construction management is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction Science or related discipline, or comparable work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
  • Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative
  • Works well under pressure and deadline

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with drywall, cleanroom, IMP and insulation is preferred
  • OSHA Certification
  • Willing to travel/relocate based on project needs
  • Local to the Indianapolis metro area
