• Manage, plan, report and deliver engaging and varied projects across the enterprise.
• Be flexible, pragmatic and adaptable in your application of controls to ensure project outcomes are achieved efficiently.
• Apply the appropriate project management tools and techniques to maintain high standards of coordination, communication, transparency and reporting for progress, scope, risk, time and cost
• Compliance with Company governance principals
• Adopt the ceremonies and protocols of the technical delivery team and provide feedback to promote improvements.
• Engage regularly with stakeholders from across the organisation, IT, commercial and service teams and, on occasion, external partners to plan, coordinate and collaborate to deliver desired outcomes.
• We are constantly looking to improve how we deliver, so we need you to make recommendations to IT and Governance stakeholders to promote reliable and agile delivery methods and improve project governance.
• Represent each project to the corresponding steering committee taking responsibility for preparation and presentation of project status, change requests and RAID and undertaking action items as directed by the steering committee.
• Create, maintain and distribute exemplary project status and governance documentation as required and directed.
• Devise innovative ways for mitigating risk, improving project-related communications and managing time and scope.
• Be able to manage one or more projects simultaneously
  The Senior Project Manager is a key role within the Compare the Market Governance & Business Transformation team driving project delivery excellence and championing transparent and trusted communication. Our projects will help shape the future organisation by delivering on our ambitious growth plans. You will manage key projects throughout the full project delivery lifecycle along with contributing to the future development of the delivery approach to improve operating rhythms, customer experience and project governance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Qualifications or experience of agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum
• Qualifications in one or more project management methodologies

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing technology projects, particularly software development.
• Experience during initiation, planning, delivery and governance of complex enterprise projects.
• Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams, evaluating performance and continuous improvement through iterations.

SKILLS:

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Fast learner with outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.
• Capacity to understand complex business principles and concepts.
• Ability to respond rapidly and positively to change and to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Prioritize, schedule and perform work to meet deadlines and operate within a complex team and delivery environment.
• Ability to present plans, options and status updates clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• The ability to provide leadership and direction to project teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management (or experience in bringing a diverse group of stakeholders together to collaborate effectively)
