The role
As one of our Project Manager’s, you will be responsible for managing capital works projects such as new stores builds, store refreshes and fuel upgrades .

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the full project life cycle for new stores builds, store refreshes and fuel upgrades.
  • Working on a program of multiple projects in high paced delivery environment within a growth strategy.
  • Overseeing financial, risk, WHS, procurement and scheduling management ensuring construction projects are delivered to time and budget and to quality standards
  • Influencing key internal and external stakeholders to deliver project outcomes
  • Collaborating with Property Development Managers, Design Managers and Product Owners to align project goals and deliverables
  • Coordinating onsite construction works, working closely with nominated contractors to ensure regulatory compliance and WHS are adhered to and conducting site audits, progress report and defect inspections
  • Providing leadership and support to team members and functions on the projects
  • Driving the continuous improvements of processes and ways of working to drive best practice delivery of capital works projects across our network

What’s in your toolkit:

  • Ideally Bachelor degree in Construction Management or similar
  • Proven experience in project management within Retail, food, QSR or Petrol and Convenience industries
  • Strong indirect leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability in project management frameworks, processes and governance
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, NCC and WHS regulations and practices with the ability to identify issues
