REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has significant experience engaging stakeholders at a senior level.

Proven track record with Programme Managercore competencies

  • 7+ years of demonstrable experience as a programme or project management experience
  • Thorough understanding of project / program management techniques and methods
  • Excellent analytical, business, communication, decision-making, leadership and organisational skills
  • Extensive and diverse computer system hardware and software knowledge
  • Demonstrable knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

Responsibilities:

A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project/Programme Manager to join our team on a 12 month fixed term basis.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide visible leadership of the programme and ensure that it delivers the benefits identified in the business case.
  • Shape the programme, which includes the structure, roles, resources and delivery approach, so that the project can be successfully delivered.
  • Plan and manage the delivery of all elements of the programme, including changes to how the business operates, ensuring this is done to the agreed time, budget and quality.
  • Manage stakeholders and any other third parties to ensure that they deliver in line with their commitments to time, cost and quality.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the business so that they clearly understand the plans, how it impacts them and progress towards completion.
  • Ensure that there is effective governance in place, aligned with the standards already in place in AML as appropriate, to provide fully effective control and oversight of the programme.
  • Manage the overall project budget.
  • Ensure that dependencies, issues, and risks are effectively managed and understood by key stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and regular reporting for key stakeholders so that they have visibility of how the programme is progressing, and risks, issues, and dependencies.
