Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Master’s degree or MBA preferred.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification required.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior project management role.Proven experience in managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, high-impact projects.Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and guide project teams, ensuring clear communication of project goals and responsibilities.Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging team members to contribute to project success.Provide coaching and development opportunities for junior project managers and team members.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, executives, and project sponsors.Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective decision-making processes.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.Resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on project objectives.Implement contingency plans to address potential project challenges.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on financial performance.Ensure projects are delivered within budget, while achieving the desired outcomes.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.Implement best practices and process improvements across the project management function.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes.Develop and execute communication and training plans to support organizational change.Monitor and report on the impact of change initiatives.
