In this role, you will be assigned to the IFS Implementation Project. As the Senior Project Manager for the IFS Implementation Project you will:

  • Execute the project management lifecycle.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and close-out of project activities.
  • Manage project scope, deliverables, schedule and change to achieve project outputs.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of project management plans.
  • Manage costs and budgets, through effective engagement with project stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to appropriate stakeholders through performance management tools.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and subcontractors to deliver on project commitments.
  • Ensure that active risk and opportunity management is employed to reduce the impact on schedule and develop recovery plans when issues arise.
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with project customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight and management of business change management. This includes the establishment of the project’s Change Control Board (CCB), as well serving as the CCB chair. Additionally, Organizational Change Management (OCM) responsibilities are a strong requirement of this position.
  • Create and manage project related corporate communications, ensuring that the wider stakeholder base is kept informed and involved.
  • Ensure compliance with Babcock’s Global Project Management Framework, and local project specific procedures as necessary.
  • Ensure all Quality and Health & Safety standards are maintained and communicate Health and Safety issues as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
