THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our engineering team on an initial 6 month contract with potential for extension to take control of a project to roll out a new Point-of-Sale (POS) system into our store network across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Director Of Technology, you will be joining an established Engineering Team with both technical and operational change management capabilities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in PM-like roles within complex environments
- Proven experience delivering projects with complex technical & operational change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence) PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus
- Experience in the retail/ecommerce industry will also be looked on favourably

Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end project management of the new POS system rollout across our store network.
- Manage & coordinate all deliverables across multiple workstreams with owners from diverse backgrounds, including technical/non-technical stakeholders located is Australia and the US
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Conduct risk management and mitigation planning
- Manage change control through change requests, impact analysis, and approvals
- Oversee user training and support to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Running project status review sessions from the project team and C-level sponsors
- Contributing to operational change management where needed, including documentation
- Work within our established project & delivery management methodologies, not reinvent the wheel
