REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years experience as Project Manager or 3-4 years within a Management Consulting company
  • Bonus skills: Container Shipping Experience, B2B SaaS experience, Management Consulting
  • Proven history of project delivery with major enterprise customers
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience interacting with and managing senior stakeholders
  • “Techie” - able to conduct product demo and user training and go deep into operational workflows
  • Ability to use technical and analytical skills to clarify customer pain points and needs
  • Ability to develop creative and efficient solutions that meet customer needs
  • Strong self-drive, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes associated with a fast-growing company
  • Able and willing to travel across the world to support our customers (~10-20 days per year)
  • Effective collaboration mindset – able to work effectively with multiple external and internal parties
  • Proficient in creating presentations in PowerPoint/Google Slides and creating analyses in Excel/Google Sheets

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Project Manager in our Customer Team you will be taking a leading role in supporting Portchain’s growth by taking end-to-end ownership of the onboarding and ongoing management of large enterprise customers in the shipping industry.
You: You will work with our global shipping line customers to help them drive tremendous value and operational savings through the use of Portchain’s solutions. Your enterprise project management experience, stakeholder management skills and commercial acumen will be crucial to your and our success.

Our software: You will be leading major shipping lines through the implementation and ongoing value capture of our port call alignment platform, enabling container carriers and terminals to achieve just-in-time arrivals, reduce CO2 emissions by 6-14% and reduce operational costs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the implementation and ongoing roll-out and value capture of our software with global container shipping lines
  • Leading multi-stakeholder Proof of Value projects with customers, including project management, end-user onboarding, stakeholder management and value tracking and reporting
  • Developing and maintaining direct customer relationships including senior stakeholders
  • Supporting users to get the most out of Portchain’s software
  • Developing a deep understanding of customer needs, and work with the sales team to convert Proof of Value Projects and Trials into ongoing subscriptions
  • Working with the Product Team to test new product concepts and act as “voice of the customer” internally in Portchain
  • Helping customers realize their desired outcomes (e.g., improved KPIs, improved ways of working)
