JOB DESCRIPTION

Danfoss is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead cross functional team developing new and cost down products from business proposal to market introduction. Our Project Management Office team is part of R&D and Engineering at Danfoss - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC).
You will join our team either in Poland or in Denmark, who has implemented hybrid agile way of working to accelerate time to market of our new products as well as our cost down products. While each project manager is dedicated to their own projects and work independently, we also enjoy networking and tapping into the synergies that arise when reflecting on what is working and what is holding us back across new product development and cost down projects.
You will lead cross functional team developing new products and/or cost down products from business case approval to product release for sales and handover to operations.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

You have a bachelor’s degree within a relevant field combined with proven experience in cost down and new product development project management from an industrial environment.

Furthermore, you have/are:

  • Confident in change management and organizational development
  • experience creating clear and attainable project objectives based on business cases.
  • practical experience with product development
  • able to facilitate teamwork and cross functional mindset with use of agile / scrum approaches.
  • confident in communicating with customers, management and stakeholders about progress, deviations, and deliveries.
  • fluent and comprehensive in English

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to organize, lead and motivate your project teams by creating clear and attainable project objectives based on business case, and you ask questions and challenge the peers around you – including the management teams in RAC.

More concretely, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and guide cross-functional teams from business case approval through product release for sales and handover to operations.
  • Oversee project teams of 5-10 members, ensuring clear and attainable project objectives based on the business case.
  • Continuously assess and manage stakeholder relationships, adapting effective communication strategies to meet their needs.
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving sessions to overcome challenges and enhance project outcomes.
  • Drive the organizational growth journey, ensuring continuous improvement in project execution within hybrid work environments.
