Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager- Design, you will be involved managing and advising on any issues on the mixed use development project, from a multidisciplinary point of view, from design through to construction and commissioning/ handover.

Duties:

  • Ability to engage on a large project with multiple phases. Expected level of engagement includes supervision on delivery of scope, direction and coordination as necessary; identification of change orders, or delegating portions of projects to deputies with active engagement in oversite.
  • Understand issues and proactively problem solve address issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and communicate staffing plans and workload expectations throughout the project duration.
  • Lead by example for safety and quality execution
  • Manage and directs professional and technical staff to complete a complex engineering projects.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for capture and execution of projects.
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and incorporated into the design.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, from engineering design to construction and commissioning.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established milestones and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise.
  • Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is an advantage.
  • 20 years of experience in managing large-scale design projects.
  • Mixed-use project experience is a must
  • Extensive experience managing PMC projects, teams, and budgets, as well as a proven ability to deliver results on time
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
