The work sectors covered from this office are electrical, mechanical and property maintenance works at values of £250K- £1M

Responsibilities:

A senior multi trade project manager is required to join our continually growing Defence contract. The position will require travel across sites in Somerset and Devon. Projects will involve electrical, mechanical and property maintenance works.

Working on our busy Defence contract you will work to oversee a team to effectively deliver the projects you are allocated to, not only being responsible for the delivery of the works onsite but doing this whilst keeping strict attention to quality, health and safety and compliance.

  • Effectively manage the billable works and project managers on site, labour and sub-contractors for the project setting targets / goals and ensuring they are completed effectively, safely and correctly
  • Complete progress reports for up-line submittal
  • Manage all day to day tasks with the on site project management teams on site
  • Work alongside our Commercial Department and provide technical assistance on variances / changes to the project where requested
  • Act as lead onsite liaison with our client
  • Attend DTM’s with our clients and contractors
  • Proactively engineer our projects alongside our design appointments and Pre-Construction team
  • Procure materials and equipment throughout our buying process [where requested].
  • Remain responsible for the timely delivery of the tasks allocated to you within the department
  • Complete KPI’s for sub-contractors and consultants assessing their performance.
  • Creation and compliance to MEP Construction programmes.
  • Project document control, accessing and managing this process across projects to all sub-contractors and contractors involved with projects.
  • Provide general in business support to other departments as directed.
