QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or civil engineering (or similar technical discipline) required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial equipment project management preferred. Industrial or Specilaty gas experience is preferred.
• Holds or in process of obtaining Peng disignation in a Canadian region.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
• Able to lead multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office software, AutoCAD LT, Smartsheet and other company and discipline specific software applications.
• Knowledge of material balance, process engineering, process controls, plant hydraulics, and process safety management.

PURPOSE:

• The Senior Project Manager, Engineering is a critical resource on the Messer PGP Engineering Team.
• The incumbent safely manages and successfully execute all assigned projects for PGP sites, including standard and complex liquid and gas supply systems.
• The successful candidate will manage all aspects of project initiation, planning, and execution, to include the following project deliverables: project scope, plan, budget, schedule, procurement, reviews, resources, installation, start-up/commissioning, customer training, and administrative requirements.
