We have a new opportunity for an experienced career Senior Project Manager to join the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). Reporting to the Senior EPMO Manager, you will work closely with the IT Project Sponsor and internal IT team, leading the end-to-end delivery of a range of IT projects of various sizes and complexities, driving outcomes utilising best practice methodologies and processes to deliver on time, in scope and budget. You will utilise your strong IT technical knowledge and project management expertise to effectively manage multiple projects at any one time.
Your ability to engage collaboratively with the project sponsor, build and maintain strong trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, manage expectations and identify opportunities for improvement, will be instrumental to your success. Your tenacious and proactive approach together with your professional manner and passion for providing high quality support and guidance to your stakeholders will be recognised and valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing assigned IT related projects, ensuring projects are delivered, to agreed scope, objectives and associated KPIs to maximise business acceptance and their realisation of benefits
  • Optimising change readiness and ensure all teams are aligned and implementation ready
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including project team, project vendors, SME’s
  • Leading and coaching project teams to inspire, motive and optimise team and project outcomes
  • Actively establish and manage scope and manage related project governance
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders managing expectations, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deliverables
  • Educating and coaching key stakeholder/project team members in Project Management methods and practices

The successful candidate will be highly organised and proactive in their approach, with the ability to manage ambiguity and lead and influence cross functional teams and deliver results. Additionally, to be successful in this role you’ll have;

  • Completion of Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, IT, Business or similar
  • Project Management Certification - desirable.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience as a career PM in a similar project management role
  • Aged Care/ Healthcare or related industry experience – Highly desirable
  • Experience in Agile & Waterfall methodologies with the ability to apply best fit
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of large-scale IT/ Tech system projects - Essential
  • Strong project, change and budget management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications including MS Project, PMO365
  • Understanding of DevOps and development lifecycle of an application
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check
