ABOUT YOU

You are a well-experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager. You have a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple complex projects and associated interdependencies using Waterfall, Agile or hybrid mythologies within a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. Over your career you have had significant experience in the Financial Services Industry and experience in large Integrations.

Specifically we seek:

  • Significant experience in project implementation including project schedules, resource allocation, status reporting, risk and issue management and project budgets
  • Experience managing end-to-end project life cycle process from project identification and scoping through development of business cases and project plans to executing and closing projects
  • Proven capacity to develop and implement large, complex strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and manage large project
  • Experience successfully engaging, collaborating and influencing key stakeholders and customers

Responsibilities:

In this critical role, you will collaborate and partner with stakeholders to deliver large and complex projects. You will establish and manage scope, schedule, financials, risks, quality and resources across multiple interdependent projects to ensure their completion to agreed quality, schedules, scopes and budgets. This is a senior role across our Project Management function so you will lead the implementation and embedding of Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) frameworks by sharing and cascading information and mentoring other members of your team.
Your success in this role will hinge on your ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships whilst directing cross functional project teams to deliver against realistic and robust project schedules.

Specifically, you will:

  • Follow Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) frameworks relating to the preparation of core project artefacts
  • Collaborate with the project team and business stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the right quality
  • Raise and manage all project risks and issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation and controls are in place
  • Maintain regular engagement with the business owner and executive sponsor on project progress, blockers
  • Maintain regular project working groups or forums to keep the project team and stakeholders up -to-date on project progress, risks and issues
  • Develop and maintain strong and close working relationships with operational and support colleagues to facilitate effective resource allocation and risk/issue mitigation and resolution
  • Manage the project financials within approved budgets, ensuring accurate forecast and actual spend is captured
  • Provide mentoring, support, guidance and assistance to junior or new members to the team
  • Share project updates to the broader project delivery and EPMO team
  • Ensure successful project closure, handover and business adoption at the completion of project activities
