THE ROLE …

The role will be leading the Retail Technology team of 5 to deliver technology solutions that benefit Franchisees across Europe.
The successful candidate will have team management experience and technical expertise in a Retail IT environment, including QA, testing, leading an end to end technology project and Agile or other methodology achievements will be an advantage.

ACCOUNTABLE FOR …

• Development and introduction of new technology for European Subway® Franchisees aligned to either IPC managed solutions or in support of Subway led solutions
• Researching new technologies and current/future developments in retail with a primary focus on IPC Managed areas of responsibility
• Developing proof of concepts, size of prize evaluations and business cases where appropriate to the project
• Working with colleagues in Subway Technology and other IPC Global Teams on Global technology projects
• Ensuring team adopts relevant IPC Project Management and Category Management toolkits and aligns with the PMO
• Driving lowest TCO cost for FZs and ensuring highest standards of Supplier Relationship Management
• Working collaboratively with colleagues in TechNet, FZ Engagement and Communications
• Leading the development and performance of the team ensuring that capability is always aligned to driving a world class output for FZs
• Manage full lifecycle management of technology solutions including IPC funded/developed software led solutions (i.e.: My Subway Career, Subventory, etc)
• Lead relevant areas of engagement with Tech Committee and ensure FZ focus groups are in place as needed
