POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Project Manager supports Product Compliance, a mission critical service provided to multiple agencies creating content on behalf of Ford Motor Company. This role must have a deep understanding of agency operations and project management. A strong background in agency workflow process from creative brief to final asset delivery and the contributors at each stage of development is key. The position will require a strong foundation in project management disciplines working with multiple business and client owners establishing plans, dependencies, and priorities across project teams.
This individual is service oriented and must have the ability to build and maintain internal/external relationships. They are a representative of Makerhouse interfacing with partner agencies, suppliers, and clients.They are a responsible, energetic, self-directed, proactive individual with exceptional people skills. They are independent, solutions oriented and welcome challenges. They embrace and promote process adherence and continuous improvements.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • In-depth experience with Project Management disciplines within an agency environment
  • Familiarity with automotive agency compliance and process a plus
  • Effective communicator with ability to concisely identify and convey pertinent information, tailored to the audience and situation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize critical issues and react quickly and independently with a problem-solving approach
  • Thrive in working in a fast past multi-disciplined team.
  • Understanding of Social and Digital platforms preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Automotive experience a plus
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong commitment to a positive, helpful attitude
  • Results oriented with the ability to creatively approach issue resolution and offer optional solutions
  • Ability to effectively self-prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Proven track record of success in mission-critical, detail-oriented tasks
  • Knowledge of photography, retouching and image reproduction
  • High degree of demonstrated computer efficiency on both Mac and PC platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities:

This individual’s day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Makerhouse compliance teams (Product, Legal, and Copy Editing) to ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Work within internal workflow system built to support the compliance process; review projects in queue, assign, and prioritize to ensure the right projects are being delivered at the right time.
  • Work with agency partners and internal teams to identify needed projects and timeline to receive work to ensure teams are available
  • Serve as central point of contact across agencies and other client partners to manage incoming requests by efficiently managing materials to be reviewed
  • Manage all incoming projects and submissions, tracking projects ensuring business owners are receiving prompt, accurate reviews.
  • Understand production timelines and asset deliverables to ensure knowledge to proactively support requests
  • Provide reporting to 3rd party agencies detailing utilization of resources as needed
  • Identify and enforce processes to ensure seamless deliveries.
  • Troubleshoot and document issues and provide ideas for solutions.
  • Oversee quality control for the accuracy and completeness of Fordshare tickets
  • Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies by promoting systems in content lifecycle
  • Lead efforts to demonstrate proper usage of all tools, supporting users, and promoting its use
  • Identify measures to improve work processes, departmental performance, system improvements and assist in their development and deployment
