Are you an experienced project manager looking for a new challenge? Suffolk County Council is seeking a Senior Project Manager for HR Digital Transformation. This is a fixed-term, one-year role based in Ipswich, offering a competitive salary of £45,380 - £55,634 per annum (pro rata for part-time).
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As the Senior Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our HR Digital Transformation. Working within the HR service, the main purpose of this role is to create a robust, end-to-end process in Oracle Fusion that ensures accurate establishment data, validates staffing budget allocations, and improves management and forecasting of staff costs. You’ll oversee a full data cleanse of existing establishment data, implement comprehensive reporting tools, and collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- plan and manage all aspects of the project, including technical deliverables
- direct and manage project resources, ensuring timely and quality delivery
- identify and manage project risks, developing suitable contingency plans
- prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to support business case development
- collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to deliver the project
- monitor and report on the progress of agreed benefits realisation
- design, test, and implement reports for visibility and decision-making.
