Responsibilities:
- Partners with Executive Sponsors and stakeholders to define the project scope, critical success factors and expected business outcomes, adapting to both Agile and Waterfall requirement gathering.
- Establishes a Project Charter outlining projects goals, objectives, risks, resource needs, roles, responsibilities, crucial milestones, accommodating both Agile (epics, features) and Waterfall (phases, deliverables) frameworks.
- Leads and manages delivery activities throughout the project lifecycle and Agile iterations, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and other factors necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Removes blockers and resolves issues swiftly, while ensuring that backlog prioritization or task scheduling is responsive to business needs.
- Generates regular reports on the progress (scheduling, resourcing, budgets, conflicting agendas, issues and escalations) to the relevant stakeholder groups.
- Coaches, mentors, and motivates team members, fostering an empowered, collaborative environment using Agile practices (retrospectives, feedback loops) or Waterfall team management techniques (performance reviews, task delegation).
- Contributes to the Value Delivery Centre of Excellence, fostering continuous improvement in project and Agile delivery.
