Description:

We are looking for an Senior Project Manager for a long-term temporary position, with an expected end date of June 2029, located in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in an IT related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager and 4 years’ as a Business Analyst
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience with change management (OCM) in projects as a discipline
  • Experience of managing senior level projects at a corporate level
  • Experience facilitating Steering Committee meetings - senior level stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of risk management and mitigating risks for high profile projects
  • Experience in leading and directing teams to understand decisions required and impacts arising from decisions
  • Experience managing technical teams, business teams and senior stakeholders towards project goals/benefits/outcomes
  • Experience with Budget Management
  • Relationship management with strategic partnerships
  • Experience in reporting stewardship for key metrics / milestone

Responsibilities:

This opportunity carries senior level accountabilities in Project Management, Business Analysis, Organizational Change Management, and Team Support & Planning. The Senior Project Manager is required to represent the Project Management Office and Business Operations sustainment.

Responsibilities:

  • This position requires extensive experience managing people, programs and portfolios, and organizational change
  • Deliver and successfully implement high-profile initiative according to best practice methodologies and the project lifecycle developed by the PMO
  • The Project Management Office is responsible for the successful execution of Enterprise delivered projects in line with best practices and to meet our client’s business objectives
  • Be responsible for the project planning, vendor relationship management, budget management, strategic partner relationship management, risk management, and key metrics / milestones reporting stewardship
