Senior Project Manager (IT Infrastructure / Transition)

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Manager/Transition Manager to oversee the outsourcing of our IT infrastructure activities and teams to India.
This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of the project, managing all phases from start to finish.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Proven track record of 8 years in project or transition management within IT infrastructure
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure components, encompassing networks, servers, databases, and hardware/software systems
• Demonstrated success in leading complex outsourcing projects
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences
• Flexibility and adaptability, including a willingness to travel to India as required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Oversee a team of transition managers, providing guidance, support, and backup as needed
• Develop, refine, and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including regular project status updates and progress reports
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, including data protection and banking secrecy
• Contribute to the design of the target organization, communication plans, retention and relocation policies, and contract negotiations
• Monitor and manage project budget in collaboration with finance teams
• Regularly travel to India to oversee project progress and address challenges
