Senior Project Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY

KBR’s Land Team is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (PM) to lead PM activities within a high profile Land Project (L4111-Ph1 Protected Mobility Modernisation). You will oversee the PM activities and deliverables of the project, as well as providing key support in managing and mentoring PM (and associated) staff and providing overall team leadership and acting as a main point of contact with the client.
Additionally this role will have responsibility to support budgeting and cost management, as well as risk management, reporting, governance and quality assurance.
A focus on building relationships, managing KBR’s partnerships and maintaining client satisfaction will be key to this role, with a view to maximising business opportunities within the agreed operating structure.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Related tertiary (Business, Law, Engineering etc.) or project management qualifications (or commensurate professional experience) essential.
• Demonstrated experience within Defence and/or Defence Industry (8+ years).
• Extensive experience in management of deliverables-based projects within a Defence environment.
• Strong people management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
