POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Agile delivery methodologies to join our team. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication and organizational skills to manage and deliver complex data-driven projects in a dynamic corporate environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong Agile mindset and the ability to coach teams as they adopt Agile practices, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering collaboration across stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of leading Agile projects and coaching teams on Agile practices.
  • Experience managing data-driven projects and collaborating with data teams.
  • Expertise in Scrum.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, particularly JIRA and Monday.com.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, CSM, or SAFe SSM/SASM.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Familiarity with reporting tools like Sigma Computing.
  • Experience managing projects with Databricks and AWS environments/technologies.
  • Technical background is a plus.
  • Understanding of AI and GenAI solutions is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Background in Product Management.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and build relationships across teams and departments.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, capable of working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data services projects, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, driving alignment and prioritization.
  • Coach team members and projects on Agile processes and implementation.
  • Act as an Agile coach, supporting the adoption and implementation of Agile practices across the team and organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, and retrospectives to maintain steady progress and continuous improvement.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating and resolving them promptly.
  • Support the integration of data and AI-driven initiatives by ensuring effective collaboration between data scientists and technology teams.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
