Legacy Strategies are hiring on behalf of our client in the civil engineering industry for the role of Senior Project Manager. Our client is looking for someone to become a crucial part of their team who will manage projects efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CSCS card.
- Experience in managing large scale projects, preferably in Rail.
- Related industry qualification e.g in Project Management.
- Able to work well within a team as well as independently.
- Key verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to make reasonable adjustments to project plans as and when required.
- Able to build and maintain working-relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work between Birmingham and London, when required.

Responsibilities:
- Project Execution and Oversight: Take charge of the entire project lifecycle, ensuring all phases are executed within set timeframes and budgets. Implement rigorous monitoring mechanisms to track progress and financial health.
- Risk Management and Resolution: Proactively identify project risks and challenges, devising and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Address issues promptly, ensuring minimal impact on project momentum.
- Planning and Adaptation: Develop detailed project plans, adapting them as necessary to accommodate changing requirements and external factors. Ensure alignment with client and stakeholder expectations.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Facilitate clear, continuous communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners. Hold regular meetings to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
- Safety and Compliance: Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all project activities comply with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices. Investigate any incidents with diligence and lead by example in promoting health and safety.
- Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, mentor, and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages high performance and adherence to quality and safety standards.
