QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s or PhD Degree in Engineering or Life Science (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharma, etc.)
  • Significant experience in Project Management in Production or R&D, within the pharma or medical sector
  • Keen analytical skills, business acumen, adept with data, systematic problem solving
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Full fluency in English. Fluency in Danish is a strong advantage
    On a personal level, you are driven and a true leader. You can take ownership of projects to set a clear direction. You also have the interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners at a high level to create your own network in large company. Working and acting as a team player is key.
    The right candidate is adept at handling key stakeholders with sometimes diverging agendas, keeps their head high in adversity and solves most conflicts on their own without needing to escalate.

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Development is a support function consisting of 8-10 Project Managers and manufacturing specialists, working together in an open and trustful manner. We are part of Agilent’s OFS division (Order-Fulfillment-Supply) consisting of more than 5000 employees worldwide. Specifically, we support the manufacturing site in Denmark, consisting of some 250 staff. The main responsibilities of project managers in the department include:

  • Driving development of local manufacture capability in relation to all aspects, new business (NPI’s), modernization of site, corporate strategy, authority expectations etc.
  • Serving as 1 point of entry to new tasks coming from business units or from upper management in OFS (i.e. cross-divisional coordination).
  • To provide coordination of critical support to production, drive troubleshooting, systematic problem solving, SME knowledge etc. when needed.
  • Providing project leadership and portfolio management to larger, more complex tasks across manufacture, which typically involves cross divisional and functional projects (typically NPI’s, product transfers, new technology development & implementation)
  • Ensuring all necessary activities and documentation related to transfer & launch of new products, processes and tech upgrades in Agilent are performed according to Agilent QMS and authority expectations.
  • Reaching out and connecting with other sites in Agilent for future manufacture developmen

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive projects according to the department responsibilities
  • Make plans and follow up with all relevant manufacture departments, up until launch
  • Analyse and identify new opportunities for improvement projects across the production area
  • Drive optimization/modernization projects in manufacture using industry 4.0 standards
  • Stakeholder management in Manufacture, R&D, QA, Marketing, RA etc
  • Provide scientific and project management ad hoc support to all departments in manufacture
  • Provide critical manufacturing support and coordination/management of troubleshootin
