REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree, preferable in field of ME or CM
  • 7 plus years of experience managing mechanical and or piping projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with progressive responsibility with a Mechanical Contractor managing projects above $10M
  • Overnight travel will be required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in BIM design
  • Construction management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to market new clients and maintain customer relationships
  • Self-starter that can manage their own time effectively
  • Desire to move up in management of company

Responsibilities:

De Bella Mechanical, Inc., a division of Meptagon company, located in Santa Clara, CA, is a full service mechanical contracting firm. We specialize in hi tech mechanical systems including UHP process piping, HVAC, 24 hour service and maintenance and mechanical insulation. We are a growing firm looking for a Project Manager with experience in piping prefabrication and skid installation. The candidate will be responsible for managing projects already under contract, from material procurement, skid production, shipping logistics to site, installation and start up of equipment. As well as developing activity to new projects and growing up company team operating in Columbus, OH area. Travel to fabrication facilities will be required. Ideal candidate will be located near Columbus, OH to manage existing contracts with large ongoing construction project.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing skid manufacturing and installation project near Columbus, OH
  • Work with prefabrication subcontractors to maintain cost and schedule.
  • Work with existing client to seek new bidding opportunities and manage estimating and sales for ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Manage projects including estimating, field productivity, coordination with other trades, cashflow, customer relationships, change order management etc.
  • Invoicing of projects in timely manner to ensure company cashflow is maintained.
  • Provide leadership to Project Engineers and assist with training of younger staff to become next generation of PMs.
  • Prepare estimates and budgets for submittal to clients for competitive bids.
